First World War Postcard of ‘The Mosque of Mohammed El Worde’, Cairo

A black and white artistic postcard depicting a bustling street view in a city with the tall minaret and ornate dome of a mosque high in the background. There are brick buildings on either side of the street with people sitting or standing outside. Many other people are walking in the street, several carrying items on their heads. Some of the buildings have awnings and there is a dark coloured with banner with European and Arabic writing on it, that stretches high above the street from one side to another. The postcard is in good condition with slight damage on one top corner. The front is printed with a description of the image, and the reverse has proforma printing.
