Historical information

Woodworking model made by Mr Vernon Marsh of Armadale State School, Third Road Armadale. Made the object in 1928 at the age of 12. At the time, Armadale State School had the only manual arts facilities in the Southern Corridor. An example of Manual Arts projects conducted in the late 1920's in schools to develop hand skills for future use in employment.
