Overview

Rectangular body with curved ends. Has inlaid decoration forming and extended ''VVV'' pattern in dark and light woods with 5 nails to hang ones keys.
Along the upper and lower edges is fixed round edged battons.

Historical information

Completed by Mr Vernon Marsh of Armadale State School. Completed between the ages of 11 and 13. At that time, Armadale State School was the only school in the Southern Corridor to have a manual arts facility. This key rack is an example of manual art projects conducted in the late 1920's in schools to develop hand skills for future use in employment.
