TEE SQUARE
c. 1928Long leg of the the ''TEE'' tapers slightly away from crosspiece to the end and has the straight edge bevelled. The crosspiece is fixed to the leg by five screws and is situated approximately a third of the way along it. Both members are composed of two wood with the leading edge of the harder material.
Made by Mr Vernon Marsh of Armadale State School. Completed between the ages of 11 and 13. At the time, Armadale State School was the only school in the Southern Corridor that had a manual arts facility. This tee square is an example of a manual school arts project conducted in the late 1920s to develop hand skills for future use in employment.
