Historical information

Owned and possibly made by Mr Vernon Marsh of Armadale State School. Used between the ages of 11 and 13. At the time, Armadale State School was the only school in the Southern Corridor that had a manual arts facility. Many of Marsh's projects were examples of manual art projects conducted in the late 1920s in schools to develop hand skills for future use in employment.
