First World War Black and White Postcard of The Pyramids at Cairo

A sepia-coloured artistic postcard showing two Egyptian men in front of two pyramids. One man is seated on a camel while the other is standing to the side. Both men are looking at each other and are wearing white robes. The camel has an ornate saddle with tassels that hang below the animal’s body. There are two large palm trees behind the camel and then further in the distance are 2 pyramids. There appears to be some equipment on the ground next to the palm trees and a stone block to the right-hand side of the picture. The remainder of the landscape is sand. The postcard has significant oil marks on its left-hand side which show front and back and damage to its top corners. The reverse has proforma printing and description of the image.
