First World War Postcard of the 'Statute of Nubar Pasha', Alexandria

A sepia-coloured artistic postcard depicting the statue of a man located in a formal city square. The man is seated in a chair, wearing local robes and a fez and holding a large tablet. The statue sits atop a high plinth which has Arabic writing on it. There is a small garden surrounding the statue with a low ornate metal fence and wall. The square has several trees lining it together with light poles and a tall column. There is a road at the edge of the square and buildings can be seen on two sides. The postcard is in very good condition with no damage. The left edge has perforations that suggest it was separated from another card. The front is printed with a description of the image, and the reverse has proforma printing.
