Overview

Small white clear glazed Wembley Ware bowl with rounded sloping sides to flat base.

Reverse: There is a small unglazed foot and on the base is the mark of a crown with 'WEMBLEY QUALITY WARE' in a circle with a stylised 'B&W' within it. There is an irregular darker area around the rim reflected on the outside.

Historical information

The soup plate with Government crest was probably made for Parliament House.
