Overview

Wembley Ware lustre ware basket. The exterior is designed to look like a woven basket in shade of yellow and tan, the inside is greeny yellow. There are two basket handles, one of either side. You can see the cast marks down either side of the basket from the centre of the handles. The rim is undercut in the interior. The basket shapes down to a slightly smaller base, the foot of which is unglazed.

Base: The base is glazed in a biscuit shade and the stamp of 'Wembley Ware' can just be seen.
