BOWL: WEMBLEY WARE, APRICOT
c. 1955Breakfast bowl with small foot in graduated apricot glaze, darker at rim and lighter in centre.
Base: Reverse has clear glaze. Makers mark of a crown above '-WEMBLEY-QUALITY WARE' in a circle with stylised 'B&W' in the centre.
The pieces listed were purchased by the donor from Anglicare Op Shop for total of $12. Mr Viska says that the pieces are becoming harder to find and also increasing in price..
