Overview

Kreisler transistor radio. Green plastic case with mesh front and circular dial. Green plastic carrying strap. Left hand side has plug for earphone, right hand side has cream edged milled wheel for volume control and on/off. Rear centre back has brass coin-slotted screw to enable opening. There is a grate-like opening across the top of the back. The name Kreisler appears on the top right hand front with the Kreisler trademark above. Base has a rectangular stamp with "MODEL NO. 41-37 SERIAL NO. / DESIGN REGISRATION APPLIED FOR / TO REMOVE BACK. SWITCH / RECEIVER OFF and UNSCREW / COIN-SLOTTED SCREW IN / CENTRE OF CABINET BACK. / BATTERY :- EVEREADY 2362. / (9 VOLTS) / MADE IN AUSTRALIA BY - / KREISLER AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD./ CAWARRA RD. CARINGBAH. "
