Wembley Ware

c. 1965

Overview

Small swan on water glazed black with red glazed beak. Its neck is curved into a tight 's'. The swan is hollow between its wings and could be used as either a toothpick holder or an individual ashtray.

Base: Its foot is unglazed but the base is glazed black with 'WEMBLEY WARE' impressed into it.

Purchased from 'Old Values' in Subiaco by Susan Wann in June 2009 for $25.00.
