Overview
Wembley Ware 'Sunflower' bowl, deep, round, green and cream opalescent glaze, with curved moulded patterns on sides, emerging from a flower-shaped motif in base of bowl. Broad gold rim.
Reverse: Underside of bowl is glazed in opalescent cream colour, lightly crazed. Two small grey spots on underside of wall of bowl. Indistinct Wembley Ware mark beneath base.

Produced in Subiaco by the Bristile company - one of a very small number of Australian potteries operating in the 20th century. Excellent example of Wembley Ware.
