GALLOP JANE
c. 1890B/W print of a sepia head and shoulders portrait of a young woman. Her hair is parted in the centre and swept tightly back. Her fitted, boned bodice is closed with six contrasting buttons and the neckline is decorated with braid, a brooch and lace. The oval image was mounted on cream card.
Daughter of James and Elizabeth Gallop. Married Edward Holiday on December 3, 1892 in Magill, South Australia where the groom was from. Lived in Toodyay. Original photos were in a family bible on loan to the Museum.
