Two block mounted b/w photos of machinery in power generation shed formerly next to Connor's Mill in 1920s
a) generator motor suspended by chains & engineer, identified from a note on the back as Norman Garvey.
b) generator wheel & belt on concrete block in shed. Handwritten on the back is “Power Station machinery Post Feb 1924.”
The photos are mounted photo reproductions and are of poor quality however their physical condition is generally good.

Historical information

It is unknown how these images came to be grouped together in the Museum Workshop. In terms of intellectual property, the original owner of these images is unknown but it is assumed that they were taken with the intent of recording the development of Toodyay’s electricity supply. It is therefore assumed that these photos are intended to be kept for research or display.
