Overview

An exotic off white cotton organdie Duchess set with a floral design stamped ready to be embroidered.

(a) Central oval mat and accompanying (b & c) Round mats.

Duchess sets were very popular in the lady’s boudoir on her dressing table or chest of drawers in late 19th and early 20th centuries, adding a touch of elegance and refinement to homes in early colonial times.
