MACHINE EMBROIDERY, FRAGMENT
An attractive segment of fine white lawn with machine embroidery indicative of carrickmacross from early 20th C.
Net inserts with machine embroidery of sprays of buds in a repetitive pattern. The scalloped edge has similar buds, little padded spots, which are similar to the twirls in carrickmacross.
The segment, possibly fabric remaining from a garment - dress or petticoat.
