Accepted as an example of a household item. This white cotton sauce bottle cover with white embroidered band has two sets of buttonholes at each end through which ribbon is threaded to fasten around the bottle neck. The design of a vase of flowers and the word sauce is embroidered on the fabric. The whole has a scalloped edging of crochet.
