Contemporary machine embroidered picture by textile artist and Life Member of the Guild, Joy Knight. Stitched in the 1980s when machine embroidery first introduced to the WA Guild by Joy Knight and Joy Holman.
This was one of the early projects, where dispersal dye was put on synthetic fabric. Then decision to look at her result and create a picture with free machine embroidery.
Joy Knight, created this picture as a project for the Machine Embroidery Group. Later, framed.
