HARDANGER, MAT
c. 1990 - 1999An apricot hardanger mat of unusual cross-like shape, beautifully stitched.
Technique is usually white on white, so most unusual to have coloured hardanger pieces.
Centre of the cross is worked in cream perle cotton with an eight pointed star in pink satin stitch.
