GENERAL EMBROIDERY, SAC
A sachet made by a young girl for home use – the donor’s mother, Jean McQueen in early 1900s in W.A.
This is one of a set of bags and sachets, made by Jean and Lettie and donated to the Guild by Lettie.
Rectangular white cotton bag embroidered with flowers on the front in stranded cotton. Also the words ‘Brush and Comb’ worked in chain stitch.
Top edges in machine hem stitch with band for a draw string.
