A sachet made by a young girl for home use.
This is one of a set of sachets and bags belonging to the donor, Lettie Tamblyn who made them as a young girl at home under the guidance of her mother, Jean Greenwood, in the Goldfields of Western Australia.
Charming cream coloured cotton sachet, hand embroidered satin stitch flowers in variegated pink stranded cotton. Flap has the work ‘Handkerchief’ embroidered in stranded cotton.
Edged with machine lace.
