PLATE: WEMBLEY WARE, AUSTRALIAN MILITARY FORCES

Overview

Cream glazed bread and butter plate with crest of Australian Army of rising sun with crown in centre and ribbon containing the words "Australian Military Forces' underneath, all in blue. Plate has been manufactured by jollying and been fired on three stilts the marks of which are evident on the reverse. There is a round depression in centre.
Base: On the reverse there is a crown with 'WEMBLEY - QUALITY WARE -' in a circle containing a stylised 'WB'. Plate manufactured for Australian Defence Department.
