Overview

Small vase, highly glazed Wembley Ware china. Dark blue/green opalescent glazed base. Fluted shell surfaces are pale pink, speckled with pale blue and deep rose pink. Takes the shape of two opposed shells parting along the top, revealing pink glazed interior. Could be used to hold an arrangement of flowers, or as an ornament. Upper rim has gold edging.

Base: No Wembley Ware mark found. Pencil marks on base v.59
