SAUCER: BRISTILE, THE UNION HOUSE

Overview

Cream glazed round saucer with black crest of an angel within a shield, a ribbon beneath containing words 'Postera Crescam Laude' and 'THE UNION HOUSE' underneath. Saucer has round ridged depression in centre to hold cup in place. Saucer has been manufactured by jollying and fired on stilts.

Base: The three stilt marks are evident on the reverse.

Marks: 'MADE IN AUSTRALIA / BRISTILE / SUPER VITRIFIED HOTEL CHINA / 2/77' on the reverse in black.

Historical information

Manufactured by Bristile in Subiaco for The Union House and donated by Robert cock from his private collection.
