PLATE: CALYX, EGYPTIAN SCENE

Overview

Cream glazed Calyx display plate with gold line around edge and central decal of two mounted Arabs, one on a brown horse and one on a white horse, with pyramids and a sphynx in background. The arab on the white horse is carrying a furled flag on a staff. The plate slopes smoothly towards the centre.

Base: The reverse has a mark of a swan sitting on grass with a banner beneath it containing the words 'CALYX' and underneath this are the words 'PERTH-W-A'. In green. There is also 'L.20' and a '1' in gold paint, and some glaze runs.
