PLATE: WEMBLEY WARE, BOANS

Cream glazed entree plate with maroon stripe in centre of edge and a narrow yellow stripe either side of it. Also the word 'Boans' is within a drawn 'cloud' bisecting the stripes. The edge of the plate slopes to a central depression. The plate is heavy grade china.

Reverse: The reverse shows the crown with 'WEMBLEY - QUALITY WARE -' in a circle underneath and the stylised 'WB" in the centre. The plate has been manufactured by jollying and fired on stilts, the marks of which are evident on the reverse.
