VASE: WEMBLEY WARE, SMALL BASKET

Lustre ware basket for sweets or flowers. The outside of the basket is light fawn with basketware pattern. The inside is opalescent as is the twisted form handle. The basket is oval with flared top curving down to a a plaited foot.

Base: The underside of the foot is unglazed. On the base in gold is 'WEMBLEY - QUALITY WARE ' in a circle with a crown on top and stylised intertwined 'B&W' in the centre.
