The Wicklow Shearing Shed was eventually relocated in the position set aside for the new Transport Museum.
In 1999 the Wicklow Shearing Shed was dismantled at its original location on the Wicklow Hills property in Goomalling Road, Toodyay, and rebuilt next to the Newcastle Police Stables. (Only the sound materials remaining were used, and the reconstructed building was about one third the original size).
