Royal Canadian Air Force silver tone diamonte sweetheart brooch
Post World War Two era Royal Canadian Air Force silver tone diamonte sweetheart brooch.
It features detailed outspread pilot wings with inlaid diamonte chips flanking a voided central stylised wreath containing the letters 'RCAF', surmounted by a Queen's Crown.
The reverse is plain and it has a pin clasp with rotating swivel lock for attachment.
This sweetheart brooch is one of many produced and sold to servicemen to give to their loved ones.
This example differes from most in the collection by having the Queens' Crown, indicating it was produced after 1952 and therefore post-World War Two.
