MUG: WEMBLEY WARE, WHITE
c. 1950Heavy duty mug (350 ml capacity) glazed white china. Very small scattered coloured marks in glazed surface.
Base: Trademark 'WEMBLEY' imprinted on base. The mug is thought to be an example of mugs made by Bristile for railway workers' tea break or smoko.
Owned by Mary Alice Beard owner occupier of house at 6 Union Street Subiaco. House purchased by Mrs Beard c1960
