Overview

From a collection of ten pieces of utility ware china made by Brisbane and Wunderlich, in the series called Wembley Ware. This plain coloured crockery was used in multi-coloured sets known as 'Harlequin' china.

Small milk jug, Wembley Ware, utility, plain pink colour.

Base: Marked 'Wembley Quality Ware', with intertwined B&W with a crown (signifies Brisbane and Wunderlich)'.

Historical information

The first pottery on the Subiaco site was Calyx 1921-1941. The Australian Fine China factory is to move to Canning Vale Industrial Park in 2006.
