1912Ruby and clear glass. Ruby mug with clear cut glass pattern around base. Cut glass star shaped pattern on base of mug and clear glass handle.
Text on glass [Miss Tessie Cosgrove 1912]
The mug is inscribed 'Miss Tessie Cosgrove 1912'. It is thought the mug may have been a prize from the Perth Royal Show.
Ms Teresa 'Tessie' or 'Treace' May Cosgrove lived in Armadale on Forrest Road with her parents. In 1925 she married Benjamin Glew at St Francis Xaviers Roman Catholic Church in Armadale.
Treace and Benjamin lived in Armadale for many years. Sometime in the 1960s or 70s they moved to Rivervale where Ben passed away (1973 age 73) and Como where Trease passed away (1979 age 79).
