VASE: WEMBLEY WARE, FAN
c. 1955Wembley Ware fan vase, orange graduating upwards to cream glaze. Broad gold rim around upper edge. Yellow glaze inside vase. Hand painted outback Australian landscape on one side of vase - rocks, trees, bush and blue mountain range. The word AUSTRALIA at base of landscape. White glazed base has black and yellow Wembley Ware insignia - two black swans, wings upraised, hold shield with cro and & large B. 'Made in Australia' below insignia.
