Royal Australian Air Force gold tone and enamel sweetheart brooch
c. 1939World War Two era Royal Australian Air Force gold tone and enamel sweetheart brooch.
It features detailed outspread gilded pilot wings flanking a central wreath containing the letters 'RAAF' in bright blue enamel, surmounted by a King's Crown with red enamel detailing.
The reverse of the brooch has a pin clasp for attachment.
This sweetheart brooch is one of many produced and sold to servicemen to give to their loved ones during wartime.
