Linton Reynolds JP / Mayor City of Armadale / to commemorate the opening of / the new Armadale Train Station on / November 6th. 2004]

Historical information

A petition was circulated trying to get an escalator installed, but as there was already stairs, a lift, and a ramp installed it was deemed unnecessary.

This memorabilia commemorates the opening of the new Armadale train station on the 6th of November 2004. The memorabilia was presented to the then Mayor, Mr Linton Reynolds by relevant companies involved in the construction of the new train station.
It represents the evolution of public transport in the COA region and the role of the Armadale Redevelopment Authority in bringing both government and private investment into the region.
