Below the pictures has text that reads: [25 years of the Vienna Pops / 31 December]. On the back is a grey sticker from the framing company plus a string for hanging.

The framed images were presented to John Christmass as recognition for his work presenting the VIENNA POPS over 25 years, on the 31st of December, 2005 at the Perth Concert Hall.

Statement of significance

John Christmass of Kelmscott was a highly influential figure in the Western Australian classical and choral music scene. He was a senior education officer in the Department of Education's music branch where he promoted music in the WA school system and organised school music festivals. In 1983 John Christmass was awarded Western Austrlaia's Citizen of the Year award for his service to music.
