QUILTING, BABY BIB
Overview
An elaborate baby’s bib from 19th century. Centre section is padded and hand quilted and surrounded with a wide 45 mm machine broderie anglaise lacey edge with a shamrock design. In centre is an oval, machine embroidered, with words “MY LOVE”. Possibly used for christening or special occasions.
On back, is a label stating ‘PATENT NO 2418”
