SMOCKING, BIB

1999
Overview

A cute baby’s bib with a fine example of hand picture smocking.

The bib was stitched by donor’s Texan friend in the United States of American as a gift for her first grandchild, a boy Barnabas, born December 1998.

The bib, made of white poly cotton, has a smocked panel in the centre – a teddy in a trolly with a sheep and duck. Velcro at the back for closing.

Fine polyester wadding and poly cotton lining.
