LACE, APRON
A fancy hostess apron of cream cotton with a self-pattern of narrow machine embroidered stripes. The bib is gathered into a fan-shape to the waistband and a smaller fan-shape extends below. The waistband is without ties so would have been pinned as would the bib. The skirt of the apron has a gathered fan-shaped pocket. The bib, skirt and pocket are edged with needle lace on net. ( The lace to the skirt is attached back-to-front.)
