c. 1891A sepia toned head-and-shoulders portrait of the donor's grandfather, Simon Chugg, taken while he was still living in Melbourne, Victoria (1885-?) and before he came to Perth, Western Australia. He has a moustache and sideburns. He wears a waistcoat under his jacket, a shirt with a wing collar and a wide, light coloured tie.
