1908The original sepia photograph has handwritten on the back: 'Addition to the original building, 1908. Simon Chugg in the doorway, Neta and Queenie Chugg in the sulky used for business purposes'. Building has brick façade and has painted the words 'Established 1897. Director S.Chugg, Importer'. Signature of C. Francis and a date under the comma proceeding the word 'Chugg.' Neta Chugg is wearing a dark dress and hat, Queenie is in a dress with a white pinafore and a large brimmed hat. Mr Chugg is in a dark suit with a watch chain over his waistcoat, stiff collared shirt and bowler hat. The horse and sulky are parked outside the open door of the business, on the unsealed road. Detail of fence and another building (house) at the left-hand side of the image.
