Overview

Circular coin with embossed heads of H.R.H. Charles, the Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer on adverse face. Their names and the date, 1981 encircle the coin just inside the rim. The reverse shows the embossed head of Queen Elizabeth II with her title encircling the rim: 'D.G. Reg. F.D. Elizabeth II'. Issued to commemorate the betrothal of the Royal couple.
