A pair of SEMCO stamped linen doyleys with an Australian theme of birds – an Eastern Rosella perched on a eucalyptus tree and a cockatoo on a branch.
Edging to be worked in buttonhole stitch is different from most stamped linen doyleys which have machine made decorative holes for creating a crochet edge.
a. Cockatoo – Stamped on top of doyley are the words ‘Semco DOYLEY’ and at base ‘COCKATOO’.
b. Eastern Rosella – Top of doyley are stamped the words ‘Semco DOYLEY’ and at base ‘EASTERN ROSELLA’
