TOOL, NEEDLE HOLDER
Overview
This well used paper packet, a needleholder, was designed for use by the farming community.
The front of the packet states “Dosco, FARMER Needle Book For bags, leather, clothing, darning etc.”
The back of the packet states: ‘Dosco, FARMER Assorted Especially designed for rural residents. Made in Germany”
Inside there are four paper sections, three to hold needles, one to hold a needle threader. Most of the needles are missing, only 3 remain – two for embroidery/stitching and a large needle for leather and stitching up wool bales.
