Overview

Hollow bisque figurine of a Boer War military nurse. She is wearing a floor length khaki dress with white apron and cuffs, frilled cap with tails and a Red Cross armband.She has a chatelaine hanging from her belt containing her nursing implements.
Her hands are clasped together in front of her. Her black shoes are peeping out from beneath her dress.
The piece is coloured to the front only as it was designed to stand on a mantlepiece against a wall.
There are no maker's details, but the model number '3410' appears near the base.
