Bisque figurine of a Boer War soldier

Overview

Hollow bisque porcelain figurine of a wounded Boer War soldier. He is seated on a green base and wearing his uniform, Sam Browne belt, pith helmet, puttees and boots. His arm is in a sling and his rifle is held between his legs, pointing upwards.
On the reverse of the figurine is his haversack, water bottle and entrenching tool.
The figurine is mainly painted in muted colours. He has rosy cheeks and red lips, pale brown hair and darker brown eyebrows and moustache. The rifle sling has not been painted brown, but is visible against the green background.
The base is plain white as is the sling. There is a small maker's mark at the bottom of the reverse.
