Trench art letter opener knife

Overview

Hand made letter opener in the form of a knife which is fashioned from brass and has a copper overlay on both sides of the handle. The monogram 'W.J.C.' appears on one side of the copper handle.

Historical information

It came with a WWI trinket box associated with The Ascot Military Hospital in Berkshire during the Great War.
