Royal Air Force diamonté sweetheart brooch
c. 1939World War Two era Royal Air Force dull grey metal and diamonté sweetheart brooch.
It features detailed outspread pilot wings with diamontés flanking a voided blue painted wreath containing the letters 'RAF', surmounted by a King's Crown with red paint detailing.
The reverse is plain and it has a pin clasp for attachment.
This sweetheart brooch is one of many produced and sold to servicemen to give to their loved ones during wartime.
