World War Two era Royal Air Force sterling silver and enamel sweetheart brooch.
It features detailed outspread pilot wings flanking a voided central wreath containing the letters 'RAF', surmounted by a King's Crown with red enamel detailing.
The words 'STERLING SILVER' are impressed into the reverse and it has a pin clasp for attachment.
Historical information
This sweetheart brooch is one of many produced and sold to servicemen to give to their loved ones during wartime.
